Delineating The Mysteries as best I can

As a programmer I am not an intellectual. I use thought carefully, deliberately, conscientiously so that nothing and nobody gets hurt. I've created and designed for over 20 years and have no need to be right or wrong, yet these are the ideas wrapped up in the mysteries and I updated their form to let those that didn't understand them before take another look to see if there's as big a need for debate left after you have identified the way to use this structure for a pretty universal kind of reconciliation. You might have to learn to think like a creator in order to pull this off since this is taken from the UL-Symbolic realm, but I've reflected it through science and math, filled in plenty of words and tried to point out through example transformations how to use and link the instructions and relations gleaned from treating mythology as the language of 'whatever caused matter'.

As a geek, I don't care why it's there, I just find it fascinating!

Turns out my grandmother would teach me yoga and meditation when I was about 12. My mother had put into me how 'the only thing that's yours is behind your closed eyes'. Mind you, I'm in California today, but these things took place with post-war germans in the late 60's early 70's Germany. They were Protestants. Richard Bach was on the night-table. My Cousins are missionaries. It took a lot of personal work with them/their material to come together.

Through 30+ years from Bach to Wilber, I've wondered about 'what's really mine' and have, in part because i had to, developed a way of reading signs and omens very much like a shaman would. I had to, because 'if its not mine, then it must mean something'. Like everyone else I developed the rational means to cope, invested in 'personal growth', healed, changed. But, see, I never stopped deriving meaning from nothing. Its how I write code. You 'build' harnesses for ideas.

I had been meditating and coping with all sorts of strange and wonderful meditative experiences and perceptions way beyond my years, and latched on to the control fantasies latent in software-engineering. In dealing with clients I learned to abstract, extrapolate and derive meaning from obscured views. In keeping myself fed I learned to keep my thinking functional. Faster hardware allowed me/all of us to make more mistakes quicker.

Hacking and reverse-engineering teach the 'idea, creation, application, revision' or 'input-process-output-feedback' cycle from the start and make you aware of many derived means of representing where and what you are in this process at any step. This was very useful. It taught me the four quadrant system functionally, AND it gave me perspective on how to run my own four-quadrant-ness.

So it is this background that allows me to shamelessly read mythology as instruction books. I've mastered several generations of computer hard and software, I've obsoleted my self, my work, my thinking more than one time as the technological landscapes changed, and I don't really mind. It always happens and the language of religion and myth has a lot of helpful things to say about being with and in that.

Reading 'that embarrassing stuff' as if you're reading Blue-prints is not for everyone. For one, there's a lot of material to go through, a lot of custom vocabularies to sift, for two, its not really explained until you know what's going on. That keeps out a lot of people.

It doesn't 'really' keep anyone out, but from where I am sitting, its the unprocessed red, the very notion that " primitive == wrong == repulsive " which makes 'groking' the simple almost impossible. So, in literature you will find confusion about even the existence of the four realms and rash handling of their documented permutations. There's an embarrassment about rationally dealing with the irrational, that is subtly afflicting many/most/all of us!

Just imagine the 'embarrassment' the intellect experiences if the rational world would be condensed to 2 formulas that can fit on a postage stamp! The cognitive dissonance without a solid foundation would be enormous. In the spinner (freeze it by clicking space) you should look at the placement and origin of 'yellow'. The mind is a proud reflection, it likes to see itself as different, in this work we want to frame how it is itself a co-generation of what it is creating and give you the classic know-how on the connections and how to discover and use them.

I'll be happy if you get the spirit of the thing.. My 'clear-cut fuzzy' thinking has made people millions in the past and I have no reason to believe that I was any better at what I am doing now, then.

How I shuffle things into 4 quadrants

I've heard that some people would put concrete thinking into wilber's upper left quadrant. When I open SES and look at the grid, I see CONCEPTS/SYMBOLS there. Now to me concepts and symbols are the shapes and edges of concrete thought and though is not anything like these 'spiritualized abstractions'.

So if we're going to have a problem about that, please try it my way for a moment and then write me. I'll explain what I'm doing: lets say everything that is has (a cause, a representation, and an effect) When we put that stuff on a grid we usually project the 'less evolved' bits closer to the center [sic] and we usually dont care about the the effect past making sure that we're going to continue the momentum outwards. Concrete thought now is how we externally manifest the flickering shapes within. It's how the hardware requirements change and why we have nervous and brain systems mapped in that space.

The hardware mapped in the upper right and the higher level software mapped in the upper left represents to me a technical confusion and I probably should pause to elucidate on that line between form and conception.

First off, when you look at a 4 quadrant map you are always looking at a soup of the action of two directions that should be shown as two maps so that the eternal and temporal don't crowd out each other:

The Integration of Ohm's law rather than the Laws of Geometry is itself a use of this 'function-of' principle/transition. Think "Qualitative and Quantitative" perspectives on spiritual space, mental space, emotional space and physical space. In each of the spaces you have layers of layers of categorizations, systems and perspectives. Quadrants are spaces with infinite height and depth. Are they? Is that a good way to think about it? Perhaps there are more versatile means to model what you mean!

Michael proposes this reference model: (the height of a point would change to indicate development in your chosen scale) There's two of these implied every time you make a 4 quadrant map! Keep sub-system action in the same quadrant as the sub-system hardware to keep your lines clear; Qualitatively FORM IS FUNCTION And functions go up/down by kingdom.. 120 degree rotations interlock the interior spaces that is what we're showing and unrolling here.

Collapsing (temporal and eternal) currents into 1 layer shows them unified, putting them on two layers shows their duality. That's basic geometry and you can only imagine how many octaves of confusion such a shift in perspective can generate. I'm going to act as if we are not confused by such shifts and make, use, sequencing, relate and transforming such shifts knowing that we can do so without changing what is. People nod toward this fact by saying how we're all right, how we're all connected, but the 'average' does not yet treat that very observation of identity and equality as key. From my perspective, the grain of sand and the cosmological theorizing of everyone of us, past present and future are simultaneously everything we can say about them. And to tease the details out from under them, we just need to approach them from four directions with an awareness of the qualitative unity of (time/space)(function/form)(bark/dog)(thought/brain) in mind as we proceed. This is how I understand the reports on age-old common-sense anyhow and in working with it on the integrations presented here I've found it to be superior to quantitative or structural approaches to the thing. I identify (experience/reflection) as other organizing principles in Wilber's grid and since these are the principles also used in psycho-analysis I chose to not just 'explicitly move' rational thought but also emotion out of the UL quadrant and posit them in-line with where 'those experts' have them. We could add a 3rd layer quadrant and shift how we're looking at (dog barking). Could be past/present/future, could be input-process-output, beginner-student-expert.. any theme like that. If we could agree to figure out exactly how to nail down the qualities of words so that the consequences of these shifts can be easily talked about. by compressing meaning into 4d+ electrical spaces I feel that a spherical categorization sytem for everything may be describable. If anyone is up for mapping, say, dewey to space, or knows of such projects, please advise! We could add a 4th layer for sub-quadrant analysis or entity relation modeling. Lots of options, and yes, I'm speaking more like an astrologer than a wilber reader. I'm working on that. And I'll come back to the mind and emotions and look at how they relate singularily and sympathetically in a post-analysis below! Ok? Are we cool? Do let me know if anything else in my categorization strikes you as odd! I'll adjust/explain. Just came accross Ken's new book and its title speaks to the vey point I'm addressing. Alchemically and in a nutshell, (Thought AND Passion), (Thought OR Passion), (Passion IN Thought), or (Thoughtful Passion), those I can live with, model and see as usable. But treating the two as identical it is as if we're looking at the cube so the the points of Scorpio (Mind=Matter*Emotion) (i'm looking for the passion angle here) and Taurus (Spirit=Matter*Emotion^2) is lit up and fused in the title. That's ok and we do well to remember that these two represent a certain relation between the planetary (bundles of splits) influences of venus and mars. So I wonder what's in it. I hope the book is about his life and illness and not a twist on the way things are supposed to be! High Voltage does not power make!

Up ahead

I will start my explanation with a series of grids. If you have a problem with the order or words in them, let me know and i'll fix or document the issue. no biggie, i'd like to see this thing work as well for you as it does for nature. That's the point of this exercise anyhow.

In order to show you how the world of Ohm's law, that of the Tetrahedron and that of Integral Theory line up for me I'll be presenting you with the insights I pulled out from between the thoughts of Lao Tsu and the structure of metaphysics as I know it.

In oriental/ alchemical terms summary observations go into the metal of insight generated by what's self-aware. We who are displaying the mark of orthogonality, have in the hardware of the thumb control over more dimensions than any other primate here and integrally, that thumb could not be there if it had not been anticipated and foreseen in the rest of the quadrants!

But you know all the evolutionary stories, the point here is that this thumb is how you apply purpose and structure in the world at least at times. Alchemically it is identical to an integrating model such as I'm suggesting as well as to the integrating force known to the east and west as alchemical metal. Metal as a noun compresses immense the imagery of huge amounts of hard work very conveniently and conveys its cross-quadrant utility too.

Its just metal When i tell you that plato said (ethos,pathos,logos) and you later see that reflected in my quick look at 'mental development' that very thing turns out the formula for 'causal-mind' alchemically, then you're experiencing 'metal', a structure, an object bounding thought, a reference frame that works accross quadrants. something like that. Its quirky, but its not my metaphor ;) So I'm offering this stuff in hopes that if can be something of like the lead in a stained glass window. A Framework for the understanding and appreciation of different facets of the expression of a greater, symbolically meaningful window on what's out there. Metal. Its universal and you can built stuff with it.

Metals.. especially reflective ones have ensnared and driven geeks from all ages into exhaustion. its not the metal that is the 'problem' is is the ensnarement! 'the stone' would break that power and give these guys their life back. the fellow here must still be working on his.

Alchemically, that is exactly what I mean. I formalized the mappings I'm presenting here over six years ago and have challenged them in many ways without being able to write them off as a fantasy. So I'm turning it around now and am using it to ask myself questions about 'the central object in integral theory', and so far have come up blank.

I'm studying though and I'm greatly enjoying the education aspects of it. They are, as usual failing to inspire in me a desire to use all the same words, but in this case there's a gravitas to the situation and I feel its of use to ask for help in rectifying and or figuring out what's bugging me here.

Also true btw, Metal, while intrinsic to the world, usually requires lots of energy to be spent on it before its of any use. And while having an active interrest in integral theory is probably good enough to get you to follow along with the notion of 'elements', to agree that each holon is its own holarchy, you might find it harder to reconcile the cognitive dissonance coming at you from seeing the stuff written down in metalurgic form.

Please also forgive my language when I sound absolute about something, I'm probably just being overly technical and tedious. I'm going to make some software for writing this stuff simpler and the words around the ideas are in no way set in stone. Speaking of stone, if there was a stone to be broken with an idea, i'd hit it with something like this:

And what is the idea? That a holon, being its own holarchy is really, qualitatively and for the purposes of projection, nothing but the first platonic solid, aka the tetrahedron, that said holon represents simulatenously the temporal and eternal aspects, that said holon is complete only in pairs when the temporal and eternal aspects have been sorted out, that this construct now maps six 4 quadrant systems by quality and that it does so simultaneously, that it maps several hexagrams in the same way, that single or as a pair, the tetrahedron arises out of any interaction of two planes, that you must keep space and face in mind at all times, that you risk loosing the forest for the trees if you mush things into 2d.. and that all this just happens to map well to ohm's law.

Ah well, the earth did not shatter. darn, So from now on I'll space out the whacky stuff and try to let you know what's coming. And coming up now is a quick detour to inner space, to where i'd like you to imagine the qualitative options being generated in the matrix are chosen:

Lets ask ourselves to adjust our perceptions of the fundamental relation of the fundamental forces for a moment and to shift our perspective so as to pretend the we are the very tiniest thing there is.

AN ATOM. Build One!

AN ATOM. no two ways about that word please, that is what they meant when they made the word and that's how we're going to use it.. so pretending to be an atom, holon, whatever, we have zip means of doing anything per se, we have one degree of freedom. Some room to wiggle, that's all. But we have some consciousness, enough to keep the engine going while we make qualitative choices. there's four dimensions to be in and using our knowledge of algebra we can figure something out. then we have some sort of purpose, and the choice to be evolutionary or counter to that. if you see that as 4 fingers plus a thumb, times two hands, then youre ahead of the crowd. anyhow, in this space you have qualitative, relational, attitudonal choices. Its where I trust my formulas will find resonance in you.

No matter if you are a hald-dead cat sitting in a box, or that atom, your're going to get misled, nuked, zapped, poisoned or squashed if you do not learn to become conscious about how the levers you are pushing are all connected to one another.

People writing about levers alone used to get burned for doing so and unhealthy ways of truth-telling have developed for a point where there is so much free-floating material making the same point that even the consumers are beginning to realize that integration ought to happen. on a higher level, and judging only by my short exposure, even withing the integral comminuty the pattern of reasoning by and with examples and metaphors is continually causing otherwise intelligent and functional people to get wrapped up in imaginary disputes arising from 'fused points and obscured lines' which arise strictly from the 2d confines of their thinking.

So, where are the touchy-feely models? the view of the thing in space?

As this 2D flattening would appear cruel and ususual and probably it as it literally takes away everyone's breathing room, I've had to begin experimenting with the perception of the thing I can now describe at a very early ago. In my childhood I had severe ear-infections and fevers which 'ripped' all solidity out of my little world and I was thrown into tremenduos currents. Fevers, for hours and days. I developed facility with and found meditative unity and adandon in these fantastic trips before that phase came to a close and years before I learned the formalities of yoga and authogenic training.

I'd content that you have to learn integrating the weird 'flux' perceptions from where planes intersect with the everyday better than our usual once-removed point of view allows to become truly self-responsible. Learning the ropes there saved my life as a kid and it has forever changed my thinking. Its how I learned to program, Its what tells me when I'm wrong.

The Formulas to produce change in an element are shown in rows.
You're still going to need some imagination to envision their veracity.
Alternatively, please imagine internal examples of how say 'spirit and body' may relate,
Evoke, Expand and Compare then the imagery offered up by the formulas for Cancer and Sagittarius to sense more about the processes they describe as dominating their phase of the tetrahedron. You can do the with all the combos to get your heaven/earth sensors unstuck btw.

[top]   DIMENSIONS - WARNING Dimensions are over-rated. The word can be outright 'scary', so let me explain that its use is to: tell you how many criteria to organize things by. two dimensions could be (day and month) we could add year (day and month and year) or we could collapse these dimensions and think of (date) (date) is an easy scale to fold/unfold. not all scales are like that. Below we talk about four dimensions using the less scary word of quadrant. We're really talking about 'dimensions' and when we integrate like that the meaning of 'the 4th dimension is time' will get in the way. Its not. Time can be the fourth dimension but it can also hold still while we slide to a different slice of the world as indcated by the colunm headings. (note to self, could someone be calling these slices perspectives? if so, then good for them! i want to know how they relate their perspectives. 'slices of cardinality' is how i think of it. we can probably define tons with just triangles!) So.. time may be hiding in the 4 quadrants and 'the kingdom' or 'multiple kindoms' may be hiding in it and part of 'operating' your 4d vision is to make yourself consider all 4 angles for everything, especially 'new' everythings coming your way.. So.. if you had the intuition that there was more to life than 4 corners, then this mode would agree. Anyhow, hang in there and think 'number of categories!'. Now you have the lowdown on the complications up ahead. The biggest thing to remember is that you can use using arbitrary scales in each column and still get intelligent modeling. We're not telling you what dimensions to analyze and compare at all! We're saying that, fundamentally there are 4 quadrants built into space, that they qualitatively relate as described, that you can fact-check these statements in scriptures world-wide, and that you can slice and dice things and still reason correctly for as long as you think correctly about 'cardinality' and are careful about what you think into a column! Dimensions live inside quadrants and you can learn to recognize where they fit so you can intuit interior details from patterns learned in other dimensions of that quadrant. Get it? This is how 'dimensions' are your friends. The formulas just show you how your friends are related.
CATEGORICAL ERROR - WARNING The four quadrant system of modeling wholes states that you can relate arbitrary dimensions and scales as long as you are absolutely diligent when assigning things to quadrants. Look at the modeling of hierarchy in the wilber diagram where sequence is introduced by using the 'date of manufacture' of ordering principles to create the impression of progress toward complexity. This use of sequences is of course a simplification of the way things really are and the appearance of EMOTION in the UL is one such error in Wilber's work; from the perspective of Jung and Ohm at least. The mysteries would have Symbols sublimate from Emotion and animate the mind while seeing themselves unfolded in the concrete world. These transformations are from way before Wilber and Arthur Koestler and show up in Jung and are 'all over' Transcendentalism. Here's a flavor of American Transcendentalism. See if you can spy a match between the quality of their quest and that of the qualities arising from Ohm's law and an awareness of 'space'. The little piece reveals the conflict between experience and embodiment and how people adapt to it. We can not change inertia, but we can share our solution to their puzzle. To keep categorical error out, you need to tranform your understanding of the interior dynamics of one quadrant (three explicit formulas) to that of another quadrant's (set of formulas). This is a qualitative process and its works out to saying ' .. the rules that operate the systems in one quadrant have to be reduced to their essence components and transformed before they work in another quadrant'. Inner and Outer translations require that you adjust the number of dimensions compressed in your observation according to rules. Relating learning from one quadrant to that of another is not a linear process. So do be careful. Our vocabularies are bigger, but it's my guess that some of the old guys were using better models and a more rigorous set of organizing principles than we are now. Categorical error #1: the world is made of nouns, surfaces, things. Answer: The world is not 'made' at all! to posit the existence of process boundaries is one thing, but to treat reflections as symptoms of a surface! well, that is only flatland perspective which can not possibly reveal what's inside the walls where the mysteries hide in plain sight. To see them we have to grok verbs, handedness and cardinality, work on the grid below and display just a little bit of good judgement when interpreting the formulas. Enjoy!

Lets put God into play, how about it? Theology or existence of god is not a problem when you plug it into the matrix. I wanted to shock you a bit by presenting these charges items in such a blatant and controversial way. There is no way we can ignore the topic. If by digging in and presenting the horsemen of the apocalypse like the angels with a very bad hangover on a very very bad day and as being only faces of the same thing, then perhaps we helped you adjust your mind to how to use a qualitative system. Use the row assignment or don't, but do yourself a favor and try to grok the assignment of what may well be the oldest and most persistent ways of designating the phases of operation of 'the one force'. Elsewhere I say how the formulaic view of things puts you in touch with the nature of a thing rather than how it might look if thought about as a surface. In a world of walls, each of the rows above would represent a window into a common center. Once you understand the qualitative relations you can add many more rows on your own! I think we need a science of elemental windows, not one of reflections. If you want to call the above rows 'perspectives' I'll even agree with you, but I will argue that your surfaces are my 'forces of nature' and that reasoning with them from first principles will save trouble in the long run. Ultimately it may be that the Zodiac has survived for so long only because it reflects Ohms law so well. (I'm not bridging to astrology here, just looking at the zodiac structure and its stories) Irrational does not imply disorganized! I believe it was Freud who rightly assigned the rational/irrational attributions. We all have Blindspots!
OK, Enough about the gates! They are relates AND they appear out of nothing. That's the premise here. Here's my arrangement of the laws of electricity to let you read out 'how the walls arise'. In the formulas we match two gates and see who's coming through and what they are carying, we learn to understand 'God' as arising from an interplay of trinities. Its actually fun to learn to think this way!

I particularly like the linear/nonlinear features of elemental space highlighted by the formulas when you look at them by inferior function. This elegantly reveals a distinction in the modes and values of rational and irrational processes that is otherwise difficult to rationalize! And of course there just had to be 7 distinct patterns in these formulas, tsk tsk..

the funny thing is, now that we've picked apart increase/decrease we lay ourselves open to transcription errors. One set of people will remember this, the others that, and eventually you wind up with each half theorizing about the same things, both having forgotten that they left their friend in the last town they travelled through. As regards the 'meaning' of the things described we've gone from (vectors to extending other forces). We're looking at the same thing differently and in a curious way we have locked in the fate, past, present, future, by going from the view of action as one thing to one where it consists of two. By doing this we've set out mind up to create an icon for the phase of this relationship. Our thinking has to change to go from unity to iconography and fundamentally, to integrate means that both views are shaking hands as they are being perceived. In this we getting perspective from nothing but a relation between dimensions which we can look at in any way. This is stuff that is happening at the level of the fundamental forces and I really don't understand why that model should not apply to how the world models thought. Well, actually, I suspect that 'electrically' is basically how it does that already.. The important thing is that we've now nailed a basic translation of the know-how in ohm's law on top of all the grids correlated by the column headers. From here on in everything may seem like smoke and mirrors as I will rearrange the formulas and start interpreting them in ways that prototypically resemble expert knowledge in a number of fields. Well, to my eyes and ears they do, and I'm curious to find out how my sight meshes with yours. Please don't rush your judgement if you're not used to looking at the 5th, the purpose of any 4 quadrant arrangement, my teacher used to say "Life is short, Art is long, Experience difficult to obtain and Judgement highly diffifult". And he's right, only when you consider what a thing is good for can you truly understand its components. A good place to 'see' that is in the natural placement of yellow in relation to red, green and Blue. The tetrahedron models everything from (how we left paradise) to (how mind looks at the world) simultaneously and without excess. This allows you to perceive and thing with a complete opposition rather than to allow polarity to enter your thinking. The reconciling effects of this are profound. How often have you seen (a passionate close) generate (an emotional reaction) in your self? Above you have the formulas to see and recognize how your system is 'driven' elementally. Using these tables gives you 'intrinsic perspective'.

Nouns. hmm, well I tried. But see, I can't bring myself to present the matter inferior column as anything as 'life's attributes' since it represent the denser thing from which we unfolded whatever the other 3 quadrants are now telling us, kapish? Perhaps this reflects an undue focus on physical reality and remaining grounded in it, but anyhows, we must never think of these three as in any way static (this is true for all of them but imo especially these (matter making the light stories)) There's 16 boxes in the elemental grid that wilber seems to be intuiting as insides and outsides of outsides and insides in quadrants. That's taking nouns to just about where they are going to break I think. I wonder if soon wilber will offer a 4x16 chinese style enumeration of this space or if there's some notion of process-dynamics, phases of process, fluid dynamics if you will emergent already to take care of the quality/quantity edge. we can never put that edge into a box no matter how complex. the 3|4 relation as accessible in Ohm's law makes that clear while also introducing the latice structure of refinement and development we find so difficult to express and model clearly without process being central. (process as defined by 'the every churning yin'; Ohm's law defining 'yang's mind' existing in process, giving rise to it.) (directions as given above also apply when you traverse the tetrahedron below)
[top]   The Structure of Development Phases of Ethics, Culture and Activity Ok, having sorted things out like that, lets pull the formulas out of the matrix and arrange them by quadrant and angularity in the new grid below. As you can see in the matrix the know-how is built-into everything. This leaves not a whole lot of done that the eternal laws of physics dont cover, so at each level then the questions becomes.. relational and qualitative. the good questions then become how well can we use ourselves? how well used are we? how well used is the thing? how well used are the habitats? There's a sense of 'happiness through proper use' coming at me from this, do you feel that too? With tetrahedronal system you can integrate up to four two-dimensional mental models of distinct fields at a same time and in so doing you can prevent 4*4 types of projective misunderstandings right from the start. Perhaps its this increase in Gas-mileage that makes me smile. But take a look at the grid of 'prescriptions' below. I hope it will add a dimension to your understanding. Example: In this writing I seek to report on the findings of mind. Mind is the object of inquiry in three ways and mine concerns itself with spiritualization in some way.. so, the 'Pattern' coming at you here that of 'ME'. This is a very concrete means of testing and applying this system of classifications. The building pattern I've been in to put this work together would make NATION the secondary pattern, and ALLOFUS an alternate. The 'fine line' here is that I'm seeking mind and am unrolling matter to do that. Were my approach more prescriptive one I would use a different set of formulas.			The fundamental forces of the world as evolving in our lives Given equal weight for a qualitative view, the four facets of development, aka a holarchy look like a tetrahedron in space.. per the mystics.   If you can have a many of them as you want relating and interlocking them any way you want, would they allow you to clearly model aspects of your thinking? Quick Narrative off the top of my head	SPIRIT UPPER LEFT: Intuitive Development: Developing reason or at least a reasonable cognition so that one can follow order and the ability to control the body with that reason; to exercise mind over matter is the first level of this quadrant. The student learns to drive the same effect with less and less enumerative thinking. As an expert, one learns to communicate concretely while retaining ever more abstract detail in view.	MIND UPPER RIGHT: Mental Development: The development of objectivity by increasing clarity of purpose (self or otherwise) in concert with lessening the reliance on emotion. As a student one learns to gain power by acting within systems at the expense of the initial connection to purpose. Once Play sets in and mastery has been achieved the intellect gains the power of infinite linear expansion in two dimensions	EMOTION LOWER LEFT: Emotional Development In emotional development, at first you develop develop along the axis of autonomy and compliance. as you develop this pattern deepens as exterior concerns drive many areas of developments. lastly, one draws effectiveness from those solid patterns by gaining the power to influence more with less.	MATTER LOWER RIGHT: Physical Development: Increasing Consciousness, the ability to discriminate changes in subtle currents, with a zen-like stick-to-it-ness in the quality of the attention. Learns to incorporate more and more tangible matter and begins to handle more instead of less current. As an Expert begins to focus on essentials, and becomes ever more able to respond analytically up and down.

Only shown on prototypical form above is the UNROLLING of the complexity which you are really wanting to see and grok to make sense of the simultaneity. Dane Rhudyar's the man on that, but I have the structural bits laid out for you near "Signs of the Zodiac" on this earlier page where we're look at the perenial obsession with 3's and 4's in two dimensions. PLEASE READ: BODY(*): That's BODY as in 'the concrete reality of how we live together whereas Body in the upper left is 'the origination body' we have inside, the body of our image of things. Anytime you make something concrete, ideas in a book, a village, you are refering to a lower right aspect. the content of a book would go into the upper right, the inner reaction to the material would go into the lower left, and the body of information and meaning, the symbols and concepts you have aquired by partaking in that body of information, well, that's the new body/life of the upper left. So please, something had to move a little bit to map Wilber to the Elements and that is all we have to agree to do to make that reconciliation happen. In past times one would communicate this by refering to fire-water-air-earth in that sequence. Its the structure of creation stories everywhere. AND, I will argue it's essentially compatible with Wilber if you accept the nuances introduced by a formal delineation! SPIRIT(*): Note how Art and Symbol are both in this quadrant. Commands to 'not idolize' may come out as a prohibition against physical statues (LR) and as prohibitions against movies or artistic modeling of universal symbols (UL). The way these prohibitions are expressed doesn't really matter to us, as with the formulas we can trace the nature of development and keep ourselves from the misunderstandings cautioned against. 'vigilantly discriminate flame from wood'. One more point. If say you want to model, say, the operation of a school in 4 quadrants you will quickly come up against 2d limits and you will be asking yourself, where now do I put the student? That's normal. Use that question as a clue that you now need 4 more 4 quadrant grids and that you can put the student in to all four of those. You do not need to represent the student in the top level model of your school. Seriously. The moment you look at students from a perspective, you have to use all quadrant thinking using 4+1 2d maps so you do not hide information from your-self or others. Better to model students as aspects of processes delivered by the quadrants so that you develop the model around hirarchies of processes taking place in every sector. you probably want to use charts for abstract entities like departments and buildings as well for a better resolution in your model. That's if you want to get formal about applying AQAL. Once you start doing that you will soon want to collapse your charts into 3D.
How to read and use the formulas At first glance some of the formulas may seem counter-intuitive: some call for 'less' which works out to 'more sensitive to' 'more control over'. In UL-1 - Aries you get more control over the body by using your mind, giving you what you expected and telling you something more about what you're getting and why. Or say you run into formulas creating something other then their line while needing to change relations to their line UR-2 - Aquarius for example is read as "productive, deeper relations with mind" in that regard. Confusing at first, but I trust you will find this language evocative and accurate in your domains. I derived this blending of Jung and Ohm from the 4x4 grid of shadows, sorted the results into the 3x4 development grid which took out the blank spots and let me sequence the cells to highlight triune and cardinal relation. In Alchemical Language, we've just cut the Gordian Knot and qualitatively derived integral theory out of nothing. That was the high point, enjoy yourself in the rest of these pages. Don't forget to look at the formula grid and give some time to look at the formulas grouped by inferior element as they are at the top of the page. Alchemically, this describes the stone they claim they never found, its the pattern of the 'ever pulsing great heart' just as it is the 'gem from which the tree of life is raised'. But as its built in, you knew that already. Even Brain mapping can only marvel ("I believe one thing is already clear: there is no ghost in this place, no monsters in the depths, no lands ruled by dragons. What today's mind voyagers are discovering is instead a biological system of awe-inspiring complexity.") and describe the symptoms and mechanism. The real problem with the taboo against knowing one's self can not be gotten into here. I can only offer some meditations on how to fix the perception behind it as I do below. Perhaps these work to remove some blocks that keep you from the experience of 'incomplete red' in your own soul. Only by entering and winning that war is one actually enabled to bride purple past red, which is a stated requirement of many traditions, before 'life as process' begins to resonate on its own. In the process of activating this people seem to awaken in understanding by how they learn to derive meaning from things that are progressively more complex. In this process the laws of magnetism describe a number of psychologial phenomena which must be understood in order to navigate the flux of life. Understood spatially, there's line-hiding, the fusion of points of perspective and immobility in perspective arising from the magnetic attraction of undiscovered, unconscious to the observer, aspects of process. More so than what we know, it is what we do not know and how we relate to it that defines us. But these are phenomena that are best modelled once we start seeing experts shake hands across this bridge. The Effects of those actions flow into LR-2 and UL-2. That's per the structure. This is not magical thinking, its 'intrinsic' to the form. Statements and connections traceable to this matrix appear seemingly universally. Read: a(x) as "a arising from x" (implemented by 3rd) Read: x-a as "x phase of a" (x quadrant of that element's operations) (implemented by 2). It may be possible to use Ohms law to map between qualitative scales using absolute numbers and scales aligned with a 4 quadrant model. If this is proven possible we can safely expect to extend this model to include AC complexities and behaviours. I'll be happy if you can relate to the notion that "two out of three generate a fourth while one is watching." this is the fundamental and implicit koan of the twelve-ness that seems to crop up wherever we turn culturally. That's hard enough. Try to understand how to interpret and experience the formulas next. AQAL Experiencing like this is a bit of an acquired habit.
The inferior function The inferior function can be included in one's analysis of a situation as it lends additional depths and keep one alert to intrinsic oppositions in our model without having to consider how we're projecting it. here's a sample combination of creative and inferior methods: THE MIND DEVELOPING COUNTER TRENDS GLUE/AID Spiritually Mind-Spirit = Mind * Emotion Mind by Spirit = Matter * Emotion^2 Emotion Intellectually Mind = Spirit / Emotion Mind by Emotion = SqRoot of ( Spirit / Matter ) Emotion Concretely Mind-Matter = Mind^2 / Spirit Mind by Matter = Spirit / Matter Spirit This shows that mind developing by the extraction of interior visuals (fire) about interior processes (emotion/felt-states) to an ever finer degree when its following the purely intellectual line of development. as a counter-trend it would create emotion should the spirit see itself as operating on matter (objectively measurable/communicable stuff). this may on the surface sound trivial, but it points out in the relationship that between mind and matter exists an interface where reality passes through emotion in order to be mentally utilized. this can speak to the physical reality of our eyes just as well as it can reveal how important emotional availability is for 'thinking in reality'. Psychology has been telling us the long way round. Well, what else do we see... there's no such thing as 'an emotional mind'.. that's hardware from this quadrant's perspective (and either a messed up psychology, walk in the hall-of-mirrors for those arguing its existence _here .. or a mixup up planes. The emotional mind as _such is described as 'the planet venus' aka all the patterns relating emotion and mind, and that, to an alchemist actually clarifies it.) ... that critical/concrete or spiritual/visual lines of development enhance the existing mind in a certain direction and blend it with other forces.. we note the glue/ secondary elememnt/ally for the extended mental development and will perhaps pause to remember that mind is " Spirit / Emotion " and as thus at its heart both highly inspired and exquisitely sensitive. Plato's rules of rhetoric are "Ethos, Pathos, Logos"... connect on the real, then the emotional, then the rational. I see it as a 'statement of proper (civil) operations' for beginners/beginnings in the UR. Plato knew his solids and even if you do not agree, I think he would have thought with/through/about them before making statements on Rhetoric.. Mind over Matter... well, that's Spirit in action as its chasing emotion in the world.. the matrix. The Planets I think maybe we can have you take a look at the alien language of Planetary Rulership. If you read it left to right, day to night and line by line noting the duality of the preferences you're on track to seeing where mythology appears to have gotten it's god-imagery from! Excusing the anthromophizing aka projective techniques of the time, I find the way that actors are distinguished from the stage particularily impressive. If you look closely you can see the Dr Jekyl and Mr Hyde in each of the Gods. Stories covering our experiences in and of the space between the extremes indicated by their contents will naturally opening up and sorting themselves easily along these lines on reflection. Or so I've found. That"Gods are actors composed of blends of polarities".. is one of my favorite obeservations on what astrology is saying. It strikes me as utterly democratic and extremely forward looking in how to talk about drives and their aims and motives. Equally impressive is the very edge between the 12 processes and the actors as blends of two of these. That's very high level cognitive work and as a designer I have to applaud the construction of the thing.   Self-referentially in the 2nd&3rd stages Please look at the self-referentially in the formulas as a crucial aspect of co-development instead of stomping on it! the feedback lets us model how we're refining the essential force we are about in co-development with another foce. this is a crucial features required to make things stick together and nature has voted it into 2/3 of the patterns for good reason. Self-referentially may have its excesses as neuroses but you can look at it also as a crucial time-delay effect which helps the brain to do signal processing. The self-referential phases can be thought of as quality control, akin to RNA they will check themselves and fix transcriptions. Only at the first level is the process simply generating the element you'd be expecting it to. That's why it's called 'beginning'. Each according to his kind co-develops its helpers by integrating with them as given above. well, either that, or s/he falls according to predictable anti-patterns and that's only for s/he's, the rest of nature seems to have caught on to what works before us.   Impedance, Inductance, Resonance and Everything else Its out there if we can work out how to integrate philosophy with the laws of the known worlds again. With that goal in mind please look again at my results and attempt to identify/feel/relate to the formulations offered there. If and until that grid can be 'your ground' moving past a model of static/still space with be entirely to confusing. The good thing is that as far as I can tell the qualitative/quantitative edge is the only one we really need to sort out in order to make science and art and religion and politics accountable to one another again.
How did you make this derivation? Carefully! I tried geometry and my head exploded. So I gave up on that. Besides, the laws of the physical themselves would't really have the right kind of internal spin to take me through the quadrants as indicated by the 'cross-cultural weaving pattern' seen in the zodiac and mandala patterns of the world. All these tokens point outside of them selves and so something else had to do. Enter Ohm's law. Or [insert name here] law. Anything not so obsessed with ownership, angularity, area, volume, I needed a law that was sufficiently related to whatever it would turn out being investigated, yet not subject to it pe se. Having had really bad fevers and having lived through them had already made me more sensitive to the relations between things often more so than the things themselves that anything with '+' or '-' signs was out. I didn't want anything where I needed other kinds of tranforms; So Sine/Cosine were out, too many derivations there. Ohm's law, well, it combined with the power law anyhows, but we need a recognized name here and Ohm's been chanted up around the globe, so his choice was almost an inevitability. For the pattern parts of my brain, knowing that his domain related to the domain of animated mind aka electromagnetic phenomena, well, that just about clinched it qualitatively. Ok.. so if this is still all a mystery, just look at this silly triangle here: Electricians use them as crib-sheets to remember the laws of DC. There are four of them, one describing each element. They are printed in text-books. They were it. With four identical triangles in front of you, how long do you think it would have taken you to start visualing the thing as an object? Not long at all! I'll keep my eye out for stuff to illustrate this with. Ok, so I told you I had some criteria for the kind of mapping I was looking for, I told you I found 'my perfect match' in the history of electricity. At that time I was less excited about the extra dimension of infinities offered by the 3D model, I was actually rather horrified. It seemed I had painted myself into a situation where either the mysteries I'd kept an eye on for so long were a bunch of bull, out of whack, not-derivable fantasm to be gotten to later.. or that they were what they suggested at a high level, the universal language of life. Now its one thing to have a spatial map of a bunch of formulas and another to fear a kind of cosmic embarassment. Somewhere in between though I had yet to figure out if, umm, i could match the buggers. Enter Chess. Well, sortof. I needed a first ordering principle, and if I had learned anything, it was that 'things are not what they seem'. so i sorted things out by what they were not. Then I sat around confused for a while looking for a cohesive interlock. I needed something to fold the formulas so that they would work. At that time I did not think outside the plane and I experimented my way through the classic projections, all lacking a formal representation of space, till I could think again. In that pause I realized what that symbol taboo to any german and the season's had in common, how they represented the sowing and harvesting, the blending of elements 'on the tail of the quadrants. Thus I settled on experimenting with the grid you've seen above. The columns arranged by inferior element and with the seasons flowing through the rows. If you look at the 'X=' and '-Y' portions in my results from '99 you can see what i've described about the placements: There were a couple of tough questions to be gone through in reconciling this map of Ohm's law in 2D to the Zodiac's 2D presentation and I had to ultimately resort to making chess'like horsey jumps to and from the points adjecent to the angles to 'make it work out' without at that time realizing that this was an entirely valid thing to do from 3D. I felt bad about it for at least a week! read as two rows, the above translates as follows: Wilber* LR- Lower Right UR- Upper Right UL- Upper Left LL- Lower Left Electrity R-Resistance U-Voltage P-Power I-Current Astrology Earth Air Fire Water * with some adjustments explained elsewhere on this page What about checking this? Well, that's why you're here! I've shared this notion with a number of specialists without having it broken. Finally I've realized that there's an 'integral' sphere out there which should be able to use or break my reading of the literature Updating my material and sharing it has already helped me to 'drill down' on some things and to clarify my process, I look forward to working on additional writeups. So, speaking of checking things, I'm going to put the formulas back in and give you a redundant grid containing all the formulas in two places so that you can just pick a row/column and have your 'instructions'. Sometimes you dont want to have the full complication, but in a case like this next table it is important to present is as the shapes of the formulas when sorted like this brings out another often hidden symetry. One of the beauties about 2D space is that it is a universal modeling ground. It has been proven that we can stuff zillions of dimensions into it, and that, if we're careful, we can get them out again. Now combine this with redundant formulas and we transform the 3x4 grid into a mapper between dimensions. Somehow, as consistent language on cosmology prooves to me 'they' figured this out a long time ago. if you can follow me through, you will see (that and how) entirely different esoteric works you choose use extrinsic and intrinsic meanings from both 3d and 4d vocabularies to communicate their points without doing much more than telling you how sympathetic to your figuring this out they are. Big Help. But I digress from this proof. To complete the mapper from quality (4d awareness of a thing) to quantity (3d stuff) you will need the mappings to (embodiment-planets/phaseshift) and those jump out at you when you do lookups as described in the table below. We were looking for a means of explaining how the inner and outer spaces and experiences connect, and well, sir, these findings have to be enough of a proof for now. Read on.

Astrology makes observations about the sequence of these things but you can work that out for yourself by just using what extends your trends, which is what we do anyhow. Shall we try something else? Want to involve your body and mind per chance? Grid says 'use spirit and emotion and the two will come together'. Hmm you say. What kind of an activity would that be. Good. Got you thinking integrally now! How about depression? if its a problem with (fire in the body) you can look in the grid to see what's wrong, so you go back into the grid to look how to integrate them then you do that. One lookup for Ideas, TWO lookups for Problem Solving, ok? Well ok, that last one was half a joke, half insight to be pulled out by doing.. do two lookups and notice what you 'gained'. Perspective! perhaps some insight. Which is what this gid is meant to evoke. I'll develop how what you see as a lookup is actually our link to a 3d spatial dimension. Looking at this structurally, note there are three axes we've found in the expansion and reduction of Ohm's law: Gates out of Paradise Emotion Matter --- Spirit Matter 'beginner' cardinal: abstract software/hardware Mind Matter --- Spirit Emotion 'student' fixed: animating, being animated Mind Emotion --- Spirit Matter 'expert' mutable: reflecting experience reflected Supposedly this is the underbelly of space defining the modal 'beginner, student, expert' levels where we can use the numeric values and arbitrary but standardized scales to model entitities, err, localize holarchies for later projection. I mean the above exactly like that. This leaves theoretical and cosmological room for a time-index to legitimately occupy the 5th dimension / selector of our holon. But no matter, I don't quite see how this might work out numerically at all, but at least I come up with the same elemental mixes for planetary opposites as have been detailed in other literature. I'm not sure how I'd model planetary strengths (or their opposites) to get an (x y z) perspective, but at this point I'm not wanting to speculate but build bridges. The striking matches between the qualities in Ohm's law and their connections to simple and complex sides of alchemy and the classic naturalist world-view ought to be getting clear to you. It also points out that 'Purpose, the 5th dimension' may be hiding in the 4th and that we're collectively fusing the time axis when we put scales into the 4 quadrants. Perhaps this clarifies nothing but the need to extend this model to include charge as 'stage in life-cycle' but a math guy should take it from here. My points here are that our thinking ought so stay with the basics of physical laws, however subtle we want to be about relating to them, no matter how many layers of metaphor abstracting us.. that few variables can yield powerful insight when you gather then through this frame. Somehow we have to qualitative reconcile where we came from and in our next step elucidate nuances already present. So, to make a long story short, I used the cube to highlight gender differences instead of worrying about amplyfying crass contrasts. Gender is a bit more subtle and as the cube is also the form of the 2 holon structure and their union gives room to space fer sure, Gender it had to be. By being subtle about it, I peeled apart the axes as shown. Maleness an unbroken line from heaven into earth; Femaleness as the object itself, and on the faces contrasting the upper and lower halves of each side of the wilber grid. Anyhow, I know this looks like crazy math at first and I might well be wrong on this last bit and letting that planet thing run away with me, but as long as we don't forget that we'll be ok. So, this system can't tell us any more now. We can go through to motions and shake it around a bit but for now I'm satisfied that I've walked you through some of the often obscure territory of alchemical parlance and methodology. Well, ok, I have a little more ahead for you.. It may be obscure and simultaneously obvious, yet I hope you're getting just how handy a bit of formal thinking in elemental relations can be! I've only touched on the cyclicity and co-generation of the thing by calling this the 'exit' and the 4d mapping the 'entrance' of the thing. You can make your own linkages to cosmology from there. Uh, and those Angels on the way back in? Start thinking of them as department heads please. Your mind would be the executive secretary in that old scheme. Not the CEO.

There are 7 patterns but reality is never broken and that means the Yin of the arrangement itself is represented where appropriate. This allows object relations to be maintained in symmetry. And allows a 7+0=6+1=5+2=4+3 partitioning of the patterns to work with that of the chakra/diaphragm space. Yang is UL-3 - Sagittarius, aka the (SQRT P * R) pattern. Bottom Line: These patterns and the atomic energy levels.. and the chakras.. and the planets.. How cool that we can think about them all at the same time through Ohm's Law! [top]   The patterns of cooperation and conflict As an aside, the fun little table to the left shows the 7 types of conflict aka co-creation present in the tetrahedron. You can see how 'common' the struggle for dominance (div) is and that of course LL- Water is not participating in the scarcity debate. Also natural, arising from conflict are two equally important reconciliation patterns, the 'pedestrian' (mul) and the 'inspired' (sqdiv) in which of course all but the scarcity element LR - Earth participate. Two of the four resolution patterns are driven by the UR - Air element of discourse and communication. After this reconciliation we have four 'interresting' patterns (sqmul,divroot,mulroot,divsq) left to remind us that the UR - Air is bounded and grounded by four pillars with the patterns outlining experiences to be had in that realm. Sagittarius so attracts philisophical rain to disburse what was learned. There's an entire science of classification identification and classification of life as representative of these 'lines' available in Arthus Young's work. And of course, THERE ARE SEVEN POSSIBLE ENERGY LEVELS INSIDE AN ATOM I don't claim to have this all figured out, its just that when you integrate '0' aka ZERO into these systems you always wind up reconciling the chakra talk with the trigram talk and in reverse, so give 'including 0' a try and see how I first tripped up against the tetrahedron.
[top]   The Kingdoms Kingdoms. There. If you're still here then this old word did not scare you away. That's good! We use that word to make vital scientific distinctions and at the same time know that there's a tie to 'earthly and heavenly' in that word somehow. That makes many of us uncomfortable! Without facing and dealing with this discomfort our inclination is to take what we would intuit of 'Kingdoms' and re-express it in some new language to hide the origins from our selves. We respect that tendency, but for the moment want to pause to present a chart integrating three different systems of kingdoms so that we can learn more. Heavenly and Earthly, well, that's just the difference of where you're using these distinctions. Heavenly is when you use them as higher ordering principles, Earthly is, say, when you do science. But of course those two realm interpretations always mesh like the dual tetrahedron. Hidden inside this classification system is the esoteric conception of 'the language of the realm'. Its obvious that we as people have specialized vocabularies, we even see language and study its patterns in animals. People even grant that vegetables may be able to communicate. That even rocks have souls. Let's skip discussing rocks, but lets postulate for a moment that the vegetables would probably have the gossip on all the rocks they come into contact with. That by 'alivening' the stuff they take in, they 'speak' in a primitive language aking to that of the microcode inside a modern computer chip. This microcode interprets the assembly language of the next higher level which interprets, say, the 'c' language of the next higher leverl which interprets a language that's fundamentally just as primitive as the vegetable talk, just of a higher order. So, this is how esotericism has everything talk to everything else. In Spiraldynamics speak, I call it 'the purple language of beige'. Its built into existence. Its WHY each layer has the next one. Its the gear the quadrants use! Arthur Young delivered a deep insight into Kingdoms for me in his work on cosmology. He traces the arc of descend and remembrance in the notion of 'degrees of freedom' which he uses to designate and distinguish the kingdoms with as follows: 1 Light 3 df -3 no symetry 2 Nuclear 2 df -2 bilateral symetry 3 Atomic 1 df -1 radial symetry 4 Molecular 0 df +/- 0 complete symetry 5 Vegetable 1 df +1 radial symetry 6 Animal 2 df +2 bilateral symetry 7 Dominion 3 df +3 no symmetry    (Same Ideas as in theories of Orgonomic Functionalism) Once you add YANG to this breakdown you can map Young's system to the trigrams in a non-ambiguous way, and, probably not a surprise at this point, find plenty of matches there, a point (of course) mirrored in Young's 7x7 grid. Now compare Young and SpiralDynamics to get the flavour of them side by side: We can and should extend this, but the rules for the music here still bewilder me. Anyhow... According to this table, purple is to red what spinach is to a kid. it's vegetable stuff! scarily different. rejected. who cares! By integrating these two tables I got to pause a moment to figure out how to explain that you really need to evaluate each quadrant for these 8 levels, and that you need to look at all quadrants on all these levels to really 'see' a thing. That uses up 4*8 + 8 tetrahedrons right there, thats 5x8 or 40 numbers to solve for, 40 different perspectives to integrate as we're bringing attention here. So I think its important to adopt something like this ancient nomenclature when discussing mental spaces! Now that the whole world's starting to participate, we'll need some sort of a standard system and math and alchemy offer such fertile connections to all parts of the world, that i hope people will find it worthwhile to investigate the angle of  'synthesis'. The 8 levels in 4 quadrants expressed for the spiritualizing and manifesting forces yields of course 64 combinations. These 64 when expressed in the trigram language of chinese cosmology break down to 36 unique patterns when presented in flow. Natural Science is well versed in using simultaneus mappings/divisions What if we can expressed these essences as simple circuits? Would that not clarify the ways of mind? Would we not raise the level of teaching? I think we would. Instead of searching for involution and evolution we could learn to see them as co-existant in the kindoms, as co-existant in our current spheres of activity and, well, have a place to indicate where the conversation is taking place. I believe we're looking at how the ancients managed great feats of memory as well. Note on Beck's Level 8 - Turquoise. I need a different observer to 'see' interlocked-systems than I need for complex-systems. Can you see/feel how in level 7 you are inside your complex system relating and having fun with other complex (aka conscious) systems enjoying mutuality.. then suddenly you're whisked into the only 'external observer' mode of this chain. I'm not calling Beck wrong for doing this, its as good a way of representing a focus on simultaneity and interdependence as you're doing get in a one-dimensional list like his. I'm more comfortable with the classic way of extending the sequence down to zero in order to delineate matter from the notion of the abstract interconnected existence of space and substance, the philosphical ether of yin... and not a 'value-loaded vision of yang' at the top. But either point of reference lets you move between observer and ground perception.
Ruminations Now its up to the reader to set-up comparisons between integral theory and what i just delineated. If you're a student of integral theory now would be the time to turn on your four-quadrant sensors and begin writing enhanced stories for the processes described in the formulas. write something about 'ALL OF US' and its UL component: describe how the sense and presence, haveing been sparked (cancer) and delivered (scorpio), is rising (power) How a Vision beyond the physical (shadow) supervenes (1/x) from OUR LL relations. This language may be hard at first, but as I hope to have shown, it is reflected in the best integral thought of the past and present and its available to us today. With meaning descending deep into beige and effortlessly back past purple I hope to show (/waves at you) that at best we forgot that reality is already integrated and that if we hold it right, it offers us steps to climb up on for perspective.   How can quality and quantity NOT be related? This research springs from the belief that we have to integrate the past by recognizing how we evolve from it. How any sickness aflicting us today may be rooted in it. An understanding of the inner meaning of the zodiac and the rest of the inner traditions and a fair and honest treatment of them as refuges and fountains of thought ought to be possible in today's world. Not just that, I do think we ought to ground our reason by analogue and be inviting to change and learning as it presents itself from anywhere in the sphere we're administering. Perhaps this synthesis can be a toolkit for philosophers elsewhere interrested in unification. Its ours history and future to embrace this stuff, so lets get on with it! You can not have solid resoning without a hermeneutic system. You can't. Inside any hermeneutic system however you will find people confused by reflective interior spaces, you will find bullies and disciples and none of the bunch will tend to have internalized the system in the first place, which is why they are still there. Go to any university, any department and watch how people are in systems. It's not pretty. Integral kindly offers a value system to help fix that long-term, yet only the Ohm delineation drives home the point of the mysteries: Understand the system and it spits you out into the next one. Thus the only 'progress' seen possible by the mysteries is the integration of the past. If we just keep doing that, the matrix says, it'll deliver us up. If we don't and to the degree that we anthromorphize 'other', it fragments us. Speculations Fourth type of Electricity... Direct, Static, Alternating.. we are starting to use induction with RFID, but that's alternating, ultimately, not spread-spectrum but shaped spectrum substance.. clarifying plasma. missing? Sun/Son, return of the 'free-energy' state the memory of which is somehow built in and which preceeds 'the fall'; opening up to the energy contained in matter. (reality of the magical intuitions) 'Toy' shows the limitless transformations available 'for free' without resorting to outside references or outside energies. 'Toy' lets you explore areas and constellations of equivalent 'electical volume'. It demonstrates how to meditate. Why should we need more then 2 variables or 1 axis of specialization to express ourselves? Ohms law works beautifully to hold an axis while allowing you to explore 'naturalistic' forecasts about effects on other quadrants. its allowing one to pin things into localized scales for rational modeling dictionary building and comparison of meaning. Proper Scales and techniques to compare and express accross quadrant might well arise.

I do not know what will happen to/for/or with you should you start practicing visualizing the spinner when you look through conversations and books on integral topics the next time. MORE EXERCISES AND WHY If you've had the intuition the some things are simple misunderstandings, then you will walk away from this page with an image to back you up. If you're more curious and immerse your self more deeply into these concepts over time (stochastically is fine if you know what you're doing), the points you were intuiting to have been hidden stop being an intuition and you begin experiencing communications as 'reflections on internal stresses'.. or something like that.. and become aware of how phenomena 'snap' on to 'lines' in ways you can predict without either caring or knowing much more than what you 'got' from a glance. I do not believe this change in perception to be 'caused' by the tetrahedron or anything containable like that, but there is shift. Its nothing, and its huge. As you begin to 'unstick' hidden points and lines, you begin perceiving not surfaces but processes. Not bosses but people in systems. We have to train/upgrade out perceptual equipment for this to come to pass, but with much knowledge and many kinds of helpers to do so, more and more people are learning to track and deal with the simultaneity of the zillions of processes that awareness not just offers up with a glance, but also allows us to participate in - knowingly, by resonance and internally. All these things relate and I just think Ohm's law and its form make a damn good model for analysis. I believe the changes are driven by the UL-3 and that they show up in a greater 'fluidity' of what 'the average' can do. At first, more imagery means more consumer- creation and manipulation as the shadow effects are exploited. through use however, the child now walking, we develop 'flux sensors' to at least inform us about the integrity of the images we see in a high-level. Some of us are looking at ways of moving about in the cave as it were. The visual sub-conscious from the quadrant of 'timeless spirit', aka the 4th dimension just needs a 3d structure instead of a 2d one in order to be be 'tapped into'. The sooner we get our eyes off the 2d-screen, the sooner we can 'feel/think/sense' and 'know' stuff 'in' reality. If you can so 'ground' objects, then you can refine your technique and learn to do it with concepts too. And giving space to time.. so that we can think clearly, is the bedrock of unfoldment. Did that get too technical? Sorry. I marvel at the obvious sometimed. The point is simply, obviously, that 'things are not what they seem', and that specifically that they 'seem' to be nouns when they are verbs. And that while we may give a nod to that conception, it is the 'verbification' of the spiritualzing current that yields this unifying view and depth of context without compressing the imagination, err, ability to express things accross levels as indicated by Ohm's law. The quickest way to experience this would appear to be through the development of one's ability report on experience also techniques to deepen and focus experience/perception/feedback. Practice visualizing things, backs of houses, walls, cars, give your mind a nudge and go through everything around you quickly, give it a mental nude and ask it to be an object with front and back both in your mind. Something like that: (notice, connect, ask, thank you, next) if you can do these one per step as you walk around, great! Just add space to what you see for a few months and notice how this transforms access to your visual sub-conscious 'timeless, infinitely intelligent' modeling perception system. Or heck, play computer games long enough and you'll have no trouble envisioning 'capture the flag' bouncing back and forth through a tetrahedron, and you can get to the math when you're done floating in the group-mind ;)

Anyway, Capricorn, describing the white to black and black to white currents, has a bit of a bad rap, but since its's kindof central to the whole idea that we present where black / white type conflicts lie in the mode, we might as well point out which end is up / down in this scheme. LR-1 Capricorn, Manifest Cardinal Earth is points down. In this position it represents black. LR-1's INVERSE, aka Spiritualized Cardinal Earth (lr-1) (lowercase) comes out as white and sits on top. This holds potential to makes stories about the fall, gods and devils and creation a lot clearer, no? This arithmetric stuff may be working after all?
